Intake 2022 Open Events
Virtual Open Evening:
We had been planning to hold a virtual Open Evening this year but have now decided to hold school tours so that we can share information directly. Please do contact the school office if you have any queries.
School Visits: Tuesday 5 October and Thursday 11 November 2021:
Unfortunately, we are unable to hold our usual open events during school hours but we would like to give you the opportunity to see our school. We will be holding school tours on Tuesday 5 October and Thursday 11 November but the number of adults on each tour will be strictly limited (there is no limit on the number of children) so it is important that you book a place by emailing the school office (email@example.com) and that you arrive promptly at the tour start time. To allow us to book your visit, please could you provide us with with your name, your child's name, a contact telephone number, preferred date and time slot as well as the number of adults attending (a maximum of 2 adults per booking). There may be additional safety measures depending on the status of the Coronavirus Pandemic but we will be in touch to let you know nearer the time.
The tour times each day are as follows:
4.15 – 4.45 pm Sorry no availability 4.30 – 5.00 pm 1 adult space only on 11/11/2021
4.45 – 5.15 pm Sorry no availability 5.00 – 5.30 pm Sorry no availability

Prior to the admission process being implemented parents can register their interest in gaining a place at Park Road by contacting the school office - please forward your child's name, date of birth, address, your name and your contact number (our email address is firstname.lastname@example.org). We can then use this information to keep you up to date.
Transition into School
Details on submitting your application for a place at primary school are on the www.warrington.gov.uk website - we follow the Warrington Local Authority timings for applications and details of our admissions arrangements can be found in the document at the bottom of this page.
Once places have been allocated, we will invite the children and parents to a welcome meeting and will plan a number of visits for the children in school before the summer holidays. Weather permitting, we will also hold a Teddy Bears' Picnic for the current Reception class and the new starters so that new parents have a chance to chat to the teachers, current parents and, of course, the current Reception children themselves!
Starting at Park Road Community Primary School
The children will start school part time for the first week or so in September, more details to follow. The main emphasis for the Foundation Stage is to learn through play and we have lots of lovely activities to help them develop.
