As you will appreciate out main priority is to keep our children and school community safe during the Coronavirus Pandemic. For this reason, we are not able to invite you into school but we are holding two virtual events - the first on Wednesday 11 November at 6 pm and the second on Friday 13 November at 12 pm. We will share a virtual tour of the school, you will meet Mrs Parkinson, our head teacher as well a our Reception class tea and there will be a question and answer session. If you would like to register an interest in our school, please send us your details so we can keep you updated (our contact details can be found at the top of the website). Details of the events can be found under upcoming events at the bottom of our home page.
Prior to the admission process being implemented parents can register their interest in gaining a place at Park Road by contacting the school office - please forward your child's name, date of birth, address, your name and your contact number (our email address is email@example.com). We can then use this information to keep you up to date.
Transition into School
Details on submitting your application for a place at primary school are on the www.warrington.gov.uk website - we follow the Warrington Local Authority timings for applications and you can find details of our admissions arrangements can be found in the document at the bottom of this page.
Once places have been allocated, we will invite the children and parents to a welcome meeting and will plan a number of visits for the children in school before the summer holidays. Weather permitting, we will also hold a Teddy Bears' Picnic for the current Reception class and the new starters so that new parents have a chance to chat to the teachers, current parents and, of course, the current Reception children themselves!
Starting at Park Road Community Primary School
The children will start school part time for the first week or so in September, more details to follow. The main emphasis for the Foundation Stage is to learn through play and we have lots of lovely activities to help them develop.
