Bobbles or hair ties should be appropriate to school

  • It is important that clothing and personal items are labelled clearly with the child's name.  The school's lost property often contains many items of good quality, but unnamed, clothing.
  •  Bobbles/hair ties should be appropriate to school
  • Long hair should be tied up at all times
  • No jewellery should be worn, although children with pierced ears may wear studs. On PE days, we would prefer it that earrings are not worn at all, if they are worn, you will need to provide tape to cover the earrings.  Please note that earrings MUST not be worn for swimming and your child should not wear them to school on these days.

The school has limited cloakroom space and we would ask that children bring in only essential items. Book bags are available from the school or uniform suppliers or alternatively, you can purchase any bags that are no bigger than Height: 31cm. Width: 37cm. Depth: 8cm - the new style portrait bookbags with a strap and water bottle holder can be purchased through school via Parentpay or directly from Touchline.

There are a number of places where you can buy uniforms and bookbags with our school logo:

Touchline (Liverpool Road, WA5 1AE in Warrington) - they do have the uniform available for you to try on at their shop (the old Roosters building just off the Pink Eye roundabout). You can purchase online at http://www.touchline-embroidery.com/ (you will need to use the password park2253 to access our items) and during term-time items can be delivered to school free of charge, they will also put the name of your child on the label if you give your child's full name.

www.myclothing.com - you can order online at https://myclothing.com/park-road-community-primary-school/6431.school… with a £3 delivery fee (this is the same company as previously but they used to be branded under Tesco).

We usually have stock in school of bookbags, pe bags and water bottles. Please ask in the office during term-time for details (payments should be made through Parentpay) - please note that the office is not open during holidays or inset days.
