Year 3 pupils got the chance to find out more about how Britain changed during the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age as part of a special workshop at Tatton Hall in Knutsford.

As part of the day, the children from Park Road Community Primary School explored early human history in a range of exciting, hands-on activities.

The workshop looked at how people can find out about the past using messages left behind by these prehistoric communities.

The children also got the chance to examine what life was like for people living at the time and how technology, lifestyle and community changed between the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age periods.

What a great trip!
