Work for Us
Welcome to Park Road Community Primary School
Thank you for your interest in joining Park Road Community Primary School. We are a thriving, one-form entry school where children sit at the heart of everything we do. Together with our dedicated staff, supportive parents and committed Governors and Trustees, we create a nurturing and high-achieving learning community.
At Park Road, we are passionate about providing the very best education and care for our children. Our school is built on values of respect, inclusion, and excellence, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and empowered to reach their full potential. Our innovative and enriching curriculum goes beyond academics, offering a broad range of experiences designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and a love for learning.
We are incredibly proud of our school’s achievements. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in April 2022, our end-of-key-stage outcomes exceed national standards. Our commitment to professional development ensures that every member of staff is supported to grow and excel in their role. As part of the Omega Multi-Academy Trust, we benefit from strong collaboration, network opportunities and access to exceptional training and career development pathways.
Wellbeing is at the heart of our school. Recognised with an accredited ‘Wellbeing Award for Schools,’ we prioritise emotional wellbeing and mental health support for children, staff and families. Ofsted noted that our leadership team is highly considerate of staff wellbeing, actively working to reduce workload and ensure our team feels valued and appreciated.
What makes Park Road truly unique is our vibrant and engaging environment. From our home-bred chickens and school pets to our forest school area and vegetable gardens, we offer children hands-on learning experiences that enhance their understanding of the world around them. We empower our children to have a voice in shaping their school community, teaching them that their opinions matter and their ideas can drive meaningful change.
As we continue our journey towards excellence, we are looking for passionate, dedicated professionals who share our vision for providing an outstanding education for all children. If you are committed to making a difference and want to be part of a forward-thinking, supportive, and dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
We look forward to welcoming you to Park Road Community Primary School

Testimonials
"My first role at Park Road CP School was a 1-1 Support Assistant, a role that sparked a passion for me to support and nurture the children in our school community. With the help and continued encouragement of our Senior Leadership Team, I have been able to develop my skills and I am now both a Year 2 class-based Teaching Assistant and also the Early Help Lead within school. These roles allow me to support children with their emotional wellbeing and understanding as well as working with their families too. I am very passionate about both roles. Being part of Park Road is enjoyable and rewarding, not a day passes by when we don’t smile and laugh. We are a hard working team who have a great relationship with each other - a huge positive for our lovely little school."
~ Karen Wilkinson - Teaching Assistant
